Century Tuna Bloggers Cook-off
While Sharlyne was enjoying her trip in Melbourne, I went to the Century Tuna Bloggers Cook-off. It was actually an interesting event from Century Tuna. I was supposed to be a mere observer but eventually, I gave in and participated.
The event was patterned after Iron Chef wherein the two teams will cook two dishes using the not-so-secret ingredient. The special ingredient is obviously, Century Tuna’s Corned Tuna.
It was Melo’s idea to cook Corned Tuna Canapes and Corned Tuna in Fusilli Pasta.
For the Corned Tuna in Fusilli Pasta, we’re supposed to have shawarma as a siding. Again, it’s an idea that Melo came up with.

Corned Tuna Tagliatelle Pasta with Spinach, Asparagus, Almonds and Miso
The other team cooked a quesadilla and an Asian-inspired pasta. You can check out the recipe of the winning team here. I was able to taste their pasta and I loved it.
