The temperature has been really high the past few days and I usually tend to look for something cold to eat or drink. Last Saturday, I went to SM The Block to try out Picket Fence Milk and Ice Cream Bar with Sharlyne and her Mom. It was actually our first time to try out their ice cream. I asked the crew some questions and I learned that their ice cream products are imported from Australia. I also learned that Picket Fence is a local brand and is not a franchise from Australia.
What’s interesting about Picket Fence are their unique flavors. Amongst those flavors, we ordered the Delle Macadamia Nut, Mei Mei Mint, and Wordy’s White Choco. In general, what I like about their ice cream is that it’s not too sweet yet it’s creamy. I was able to try the Wordy’s White Choco and what I love about it is the chocolate bits. For Macadamia lovers, you would appreciate Delle Macadamia Nut because of the generous amount of macadamia nuts in the ice cream. As for Mei Mei Mint, I do not really like Mint-flavored ice creams but I enjoyed Picket Fence’s Mei Mei Mint.
Listed below are Picket Fence’s prices.
PhP 35 – cone (1 flavor)
PhP 60 – small cup (1 flavor)
PhP 110 – big cup (2 flavors)
The prices are reasonable considering that the products are imported.
Aside from SM The Block, Picket Fence is also present in in SM Mall of Asia, and SM Southmall. Soon, they will open dine-in stores in FRB Arcade along Katipunan and ASEANA Building across S&R Baclaran where they will offer more desserts, milkshakes and savory comfort foods.
