It’s not only Manila that is riding onto the milk tea craze, Bacolod has their own milk tea place too! We went to Lacson Street to look for something to eat when suddenly we saw this milk tea place called Milk + Tea Station. It is on top of the new Calea in Balay Quince (yes, Calea now has a bigger place in Lacson!). So after our yummy dinner at Cafe Uma, we decided to have a night cap in Milk + Tea Station before going back to our hotel.
I learned that they already have branches in Manila, particularly in SM Sta. Mesa (which is very near my home) and Tomas Morato.
It is a quaint little place with really nice interiors. I really liked the chairs, they’re really pretty and comfy!
The place was packed with people, definitely because of the ongoing Masskara Festival street party happening in Lacson Street when we were there. I ordered Caramel Milk Tea with lite sugar level with no sinkers. I prefer my milk tea without any sinkers ;). I would say that the taste was ok, probably it would be better if I increased my sugar level. On the other hand, Karla ordered Taro Milk Tea without sugar (yes, she likes it without sugar). I expected it to be not sweet but I did not expect it to have the Taro texture. Good job on this! 🙂 They only have 1 size available, which is large. Price ranges from PHP 90 – 100 for milk and fruit teas, iced beverages and tea smoothies. They also have hot teas priced at PHP 70.
So when you’re in Bacolod City and craving for some milk tea fix, just go to Milk + Tea Station. It’s not hard to find, your landmark will be Calea in Balay Quince. It’s located at the second floor.
