Tuna Spaghetti recipe
This was a recipe I got from San Remo, you know the free stuff you get whenever you pass by the pasta section at the grocery? I’ve been cooking this recipe for about 2 years now. It’s very easy and healthy as well.
INGREDIENTS:
1 pack (500 grams) San Remo Spaghetti, cooked according to package directions
2 tbsp butter
2 tbsp oil
2 tbsp garlic
1/2 cup onion, finely chopped
1/3 cup celery, finely chopped
2 tbsp oregano
1 pc laurel leaf
2 cans tuna in brine, drained
2 cups tomatoes, finely chopped
1 cup tomato sauce
1 tbsp sugar
2 tbsp parsley
1 tsp calamansi juice
PROCEDURE:
- Sautè garlic, onion and celery in oil and butter.
- Add oregano and laurel leaf.
- Cook for 30 seconds.
- Add remaining ingredients except noodles.
- Simmer for about 15 minutes.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Add to cooked pasta.

i love tuna spaghetti! i use flakes in brine before, but i experimented using corned tuna. san marino corned tuna is a good choice.
i haven’t tried any of the corned tuna in the market. I really don’t know what’s the fuzz with corned tuna now. Is it because of the endorsers?
