Food Trippings

It has been awhile since we’ve seen the CBTL machines (a single-serve beverage system) in Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf in Greenbelt 3. We’re glad that we’re able to try this out first-hand. I know there are other single-serve beverage systems out there that are being sold. But I think that the selling point of the CBTL machine is that you can have your favorite CBTL tea or coffee at home .

Capsules

CBTL uses the Caffitaly System where capsules are used in making various coffee and tea drinks. What I like about it is that the CBTL machine is efficient in a way that it speeds up the process of making quality coffee. Also, the taste of the coffee and the tea does not differ much from what I usually buy in Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf.

Currently, there are two machines being sold. The Contata and the Kaldi are available at 13,750 pesos each. The one that you see in the photo is the Kaldi. The capsules are sold at 400 pesos (box of 10).

If you like lattes a lot, then you should get the CBTL Milk Frother which is available at 4,250 pesos.
