Jollibee Langhap Sarap Life

Chocolate Fondue Set at Haagen Dazs

Last August 8, we were dragged by our blogger friend Melo to attend an event that we didn’t really know about. We were waiting at Haagen Dazs SM Mall of Asia (which was at the second floor of the mall) for something to start. So while waiting, we were eating the Chocolate Fondue Set of Haagen Dazs. I believe it’s worth P 700 +.

Anyway, our location is a strategic spot to see whatever they’re going to present. The PR people wouldn’t reveal to us what’s going to happen. They say it’s going to be something spectacular. Continue reading →

Inside Amano
Inside Amano

Sometimes, we take for granted that Filipino cuisine consists of a variety of flavors. Since it’s homegrown, we sometimes neglect that there is so much more to explore in Filipino cuisine. Take for example, the new restaurant in Tomas Morato called Amano serves Southern Luzon cuisine. The interesting part is that they fused the dishes and made it into one whole unique dish. Luckily, we were invited to taste Southern Luzon cuisine when Amano held their food tasting event last Sunday. Continue reading →

Fish and Co.’s Platter Design Challenge

Malaysian-inspired fish and chips

Last Thursday, a platter design challenge was held at Fish and Co. Prior to the event, we were asked to send ingredients that we would like to use for the assigned theme. Malaysian-themed fish and chips was inspired and I had a hard time picking up which ingredients simply because of Malaysian recipes are quite similar to its neighboring countries. Continue reading →
