Caffe Ti Amo is the newest gelateria (gelato + cafeteria) that arrived here in the Philippines. The brand came from Korea and is partly owned by Jollibee Foods Corp. We were recently invited to grace its opening a few weeks ago. Their very first store is at the ground floor of SM Annex and will soon be opening at the Fort.

US Beef Tenderloin baked in Eden Cheese
There were times that I’d find myself raiding our fridge and getting a slice of cheese. Yes, I love cheese that much that I can consume it without bread or crackers. Continue reading →

Corned Tuna in Fusilli Pasta
While Sharlyne was enjoying her trip in Melbourne, I went to the Century Tuna Bloggers Cook-off. It was actually an interesting event from Century Tuna. I was supposed to be a mere observer but eventually, I gave in and participated. Continue reading →

Last August 8, we were dragged by our blogger friend Melo to attend an event that we didn’t really know about. We were waiting at Haagen Dazs SM Mall of Asia (which was at the second floor of the mall) for something to start. So while waiting, we were eating the Chocolate Fondue Set of Haagen Dazs. I believe it’s worth P 700 +.
Anyway, our location is a strategic spot to see whatever they’re going to present. The PR people wouldn’t reveal to us what’s going to happen. They say it’s going to be something spectacular. Continue reading →

Inside Amano

Watch out for the updates on this event. We’ll be tweeting the highlights of 7-Eleven’s Big Bite Match at Rockwell Tent in Makati City. It’s our first time to cover a hotdog eating contest. By the way, Tom “Goose” Gilbert will be there. He’s going to give the basics in competitive eating. Continue reading →

He was joined by two other chefs namely Dale Talde (Top Chef Season 2 contestant) and Roland Laudico (one of Manila’s celebrated chefs). The event was organized by Ayala Malls. We were invited to witness how Ilan Hall and Dale Talde will be creating dishes using ingredients found here in the Philippines. Chef Ronald became the host of the event. Continue reading →

Last Thursday, a platter design challenge was held at Fish and Co. Prior to the event, we were asked to send ingredients that we would like to use for the assigned theme. Malaysian-themed fish and chips was inspired and I had a hard time picking up which ingredients simply because of Malaysian recipes are quite similar to its neighboring countries. Continue reading →
