Canadian Wine Tasting

Both Karla and I are wine novices. We know the basics such as Chardonnay and sparkling wine and enjoy drinking them – no matter what brand or year the grapes were harvested. If it tastes good, we’re fine with it.

We are beer drinkers but I guess our taste differs as we grow old and started to get a hang of drinking wine. We’re not in college anymore so it’s time to level up a bit. Continue reading “Canadian Wine Tasting”

DFAT 2012 Day 2: Piyesta KTV and Restobar

Outside at Piyesta KTV and Restobar
Outside Piyesta KTV and Restobar, SM Davao

After a long trip from the Kapatagan Valley, we headed to SM Davao to have dinner at Piyesta KTV and Restobar. It was just opened this year. They have rooms for KTV where each room is named after a Philippine fiesta. I like the concept of the restobar because it promotes Philippine fiestas and Filipino dishes too. Chilling Out at the Tower Lounge (One Tagaytay Place)

Tower Lounge - 3

As mentioned in other blog post related to One Tagaytay Place, we were two of the bloggers who were invited to experience staying in One Tagaytay Place recently. The Tower Lounge is a place to chill out, listen to soothing acoustic music and eat delicious and tender steaks. The resto-bar is open to the public, even though you are not a checked-in guest in One Tagaytay Place. Continue reading “Chilling Out at the Tower Lounge (One Tagaytay Place)”
