Solihiya: Filipino and Chinese Fusion
We were looking for restaurants to eat around Greenbelt 5 that was not that really expensive. And so, we found ourselves inside Solihiya. Solihiya is a fusion of Filipino and Chinese. We were supposed to try the Lechon Macau Salad but I insisted on the Sizzling Bulalo Steak which is already good for two.
We started off with free appetizers consisting of quail eggs, crispy dilis and some raddish. Crispy Dilis was not really crispy. However, I like how sweet and spicy it was moderately sweet and spicy.
We then proceeded with the main course. We chose Sizzling Bulalo Steak and plain rice to go with it.
The Sizzling Bulalo Steak was definitely worth it because its meat is tender. We didn’t have a hard time eating it. It is topped with gravy, garlic and mushrooms. The serving size is already good for two. Thus, we did not order something extra. A group of five people will be good enough to experience the various choices on their menu.
