Binondo Food Tour Series #3: New Po-Heng Lumpia House
Looking for fresh spring rolls in Binondo? You might want to check out New Po-Heng Lumpia House in Uy Su Bin Building at Quintin Paredes St. The Fresh Lumpia is served with the use of dried powdered seaweed.
What I like about their fresh lumpia is that it has fresh vegetables and their lumpia wrapper. I love their peanut sauce. Aside from the Chinese Lumpia, they also have Maki which is best to pair with your lumpia.
The place is just small and it’s not air-conditioned. It’s located in an old building which can be a great photo opportunity for vintage portraits. The photo above is what you will see when you’re dining in New Po Heng.
New Po-Heng Lumpia house is closed on Sundays. They are open from Monday to Saturday, 7:00am to 7:00pm.

Do they also have the ground peanut as a condiment? If ever I would be planning on a Binondo food tour, this would be my first stop
I guess not but there are already ground peanuts in the lumpia… try to ask more when you order
I think this lumpia resembles what I had in Big Little Store in Gilmore, big fresh lumpia that has crunch because of the dried seaweed. I hope I can locate this in Binondo =)
Yes it is the same. Although Big Little Store is much bigger and more expensive.
