I will apologize first because this will be long. I was impressed by the reviews in Bellini’s that is why i chose to go here on valentines 2010. However, i am really disappointed at the food and the service.
First, we we’re served with the same appetizers like the one you ate. It looked and tasted like it was cooked 4 hours before we order it. The first plate of pasta was good. I got the ravioli with spinach inside and it was perfect. My gf got the pasta that i forgot what’s in it but also it was good but nothing extravagant about it. For the second plate, I got the chicken meal, forgot also the name. It was also good, but my gf got the seafood something, which only has a single prawn, 2 clams and 2 mussels..the serving is really small, a kid might not even appreciate it. then the waiter suddenly told us that the dessert that we ordered was already out of stock! after eating everything!..why didnt he told us in the first place?! waiters are shouting at each other while attending to customers. i need to get their attention twice just to get the bill, and received it after 15 minutes!
The price on the set menu didnt justify at all the food and service. P1,700 plus service charge. all in all about P1,900. The price is way too high for this kind of service and food.
I wont be coming again in this place…so much for all the raves about this place.

I love the place, people, and of course the food.. Rating it from 1 to 10, 10 being the highest… It’s definitely a 10!

when we used to live in cubao, we frequented bellini’s a lot..sometimes hindi pa nga sila bukas andun na kami e…in fairness kahit hindi pa halos naka uniform ang staff they already accomodate us…it definitely isnt a fine dining place but for authentic italian cooking i find the prices really reasonable…i love the pizza…for me, nothing can beat bellini’s pizza…love the thin crust, love the toppings, love the price..i love the seafood cartoccio and the to-die-for ravioli.. i love the mango/ orange cake esp when its newly baked..the house wine is also very cheap considering the serving size… i miss bellini’s so much

I’ll have to disagree with the review. I’ve heard so much about Bellini’s prior to going there. I heard that it was good. I even saw it on one of the books “manila’s best kept secrets” So one day I decided to try it out. I agree that the ambiance is somewhat authentic italian. Although where we were seated, it reeked of cockroach smell. But I still gave it a chance, we were there for the food anyway. We ate the bread sticks, a bit too ‘powdery’ but fine they’re just bread sticks. Then the pasta came… the spaghetti tasted like the breadsticks! And the preparation made it taste like pancit!! Yes, like I wasn’t in an italian resto, but some weird place. The pizza too… still tasted like the bread sticks. It seems like all the dough was made at the same time and all tasted the same… bland and very un-italian. Sorry, I will never go back there again.
