For the past few days, me and Sha were having our chocolate doughnut fix at Krispy Kreme. Yesterday, we were able to join the Chocolate Karnival where the greatest chocolate show on earth was launched in the Philippine’s flagship store’s Doughnut Theater.

I had a Chocolate Kreme Filled Doughnut and an Iced Kaffe Kreme yesterday. For me, the Iced Kaffe Kreme goes well with this doughnut provided that you mix the coffee well to avoid extra sweet endings where you’ll find yourself asking for water from a Krispy Kreme crew.

Sha had a Chocolate Glazed Vanilla Cake. We’ve had this one in the past few days with its counterpart, the Double Chocolate Cake where the only difference is that the dough for the former is vanilla, while the latter is chocolate. The Chocolate Glazed Vanilla Cake is not overwhelmingly sweet like the Double Chocolate Cake.

Eric of Sugarloaded got a Chocolate Glazed with Sprinkles. I think that this one is a special treat for the kids and could probably be their favorite because of the multi-colored sprinkles on a chocolate glazed doughnut.

At the Chocolate Karnival launch yesterday, we were able to watch the chocolate-y version of Krispy Kreme’s Doughnut Theater were hot original glazed doughnuts were transformed to hot chocolate glazed doughnuts.

Other new chocolate glazed varieties are: Chocolate Glazed Traditional Cake, Chocolate Glazed Cruller Cake, Chocolate Glazed Strawberry Filled, Chocolate Glazed Raspberry Filled and Chocolate Glazed Custard Filled.
