Last Wednesday, I was at the JolliTV Launch held at Rockwell Tent. Ajay and Nina was also there at the event. I was able to take a sneak peek of the first episode of JolliTV which will air on April 13, 9:30am at GMA7. Of course, I won’t be giving any spoilers. Hehe. Continue reading →
Yesterday, I got my one dozen of Original Glazed doughnuts courtesy of Krispy Kreme Philippines. Along with the box is a brochure that confirms the opening of Krispy Kreme Ayala this morning. I was there with Sharlyne at 5am. Guess what? We’re the 259th and the 260th customers. Continue reading →
While we were in Gateway, we’ve decided to try out Jumbo Japs, a fastfood Japanese restaurant. Well actually it isn’t my first time, I just made Karla try out their menu. The only Jumbo Japs branch I go to is in Gateway Mall, Cubao since it’s the nearest to my location. One can say that this can be a competitor of Tokyo Tokyo but this is a little different from them. Tired of your usual cupcakes? I would recommend you to try the colorful and simply delectable Cupcakes by Sonja. It’s located at the heart of Serendra, The Fort. The place is just small but it’s always filled with people lining up for these yummy cupcakes. Upon entering the store you’ll feel that Western country style feeling, then you’ll see the beautiful cupcakes with very bright and colorful icings in front of you. Continue reading →
It’s already summer. The scorching heat instantly reminded me of the movie Temptation Island. The scene in particular is a giant scoop of ice cream on a cone found in the middle of a deserted island which is actually a hallucination. Anyway, I think I’ve had enough of ice cream. How about having something fruity and a taste of 400 BC? Continue reading →
I guess some of you went to an easter egg hunt. I, myself have experienced it a long time ago. I also made one too. I’ve found this picture on Flickr which I find very timely since the easter egg decoration is creative. It does not stick to the usual easter egg decoration using dyes. Continue reading →

Korean Express is a fast food restaurant. It has a branch in Glorietta 4 Food Choices and I’m not sure if there are other existing branches. First, what is Bibimbap. Bibimbap is a popular Korean dish that is served in a bowl of warm rice topped with sauteed and seasoned vegetables, beef, sunny side up egg and chilli pepper paste (gochujang). Anyway, the picture above is not exactly what Korean Express is offering. Continue reading →
I guess the title says it all, at last, a Seattle’s Best franchise was just recently re-opened in Greenbelt 3 Makati after renovating it. It’s just opposite Starbucks. Now, coffee addicts are distributed. After dinner last night, we hung out there and ordered Javanilla and Java Chip Javakula. I must say that Javanilla is really my favorite . I was impressed with the place because there is much more tables and chairs outside compared to Starbucks, which is always filled with people (This is a plus factor for smokers ) They have big couches outside, big enough for a barkada or a business team to have their chit chats. Karla and I tried it last night, even though it’s just the 2 of us (well, it’s a weeknight and there aren’t many customers anyway). It’s really comfy, I felt like I’m just at home. You might snooze a little when you’re there ;p . It’s so comfy, even the stray cat was like waiting for us to move out so that he can have his turn there hehe.
Conveyor system for sushi in a Japanese restaurant in Croydon, England
The video above that you are seeing right now is actually similar to the one in Genji. The restaurant is located in Greenhills and is a must-try for those who haven’t eaten there yet. The plates on the conveyor belt are color coded and each color corresponds to a price. It was my first time to try one and I was pretty amazed of the ingenuity of Yoshiaki Shiraishi, the inventor of the conveyor belt sushi, otherwise known as sushi train [source]. Continue reading →
